Following the news earlier this morning of the formation of Keiji Mutoh’s promotion, there seems to be plenty of positive feedback for the new promotion, as well as many questions which is expected. Below are the comments from the wrestlers themselves, which I did not cover earlier this morning.
隨著武藤的新團體成立，接下來也勢必有許多狀況，以下為選手們的發言：
Maskatsu Funaki
~ Funaki stated that much like Mutoh, he himself will be reaching a 30 year milestone in his career when it comes to combative sports. Funaki had his beginnings in NJPW then moved on to UWF, Yoshiaki Fujiwara’s group, and found himself in Pancrase before joining All Japan at the last. WRESTLE-1 will be the 8th organization that he has competed under. Funaki noted that he is getting up there in age and that this could be one of the last, if not last promotion he will be a part of. “I want to be part of the supporting pillars" (for W-1).
船木誠勝：「從新日本開始，然後是前田日明的UWF，而在Pancrase發光發熱，還有之前的全日本職業摔角，這30個年頭間，我已經在8個格鬥競技團體出賽參戰過，也許WRSTLE-1就是最後一個團體了，我希望可以自己能夠成為W-1的台柱。」
Kaz Hayashi
~ Hayashi noted himself as someone who has experienced pro wrestling from all over the world. Hayashi wants to help create a positive space for fans to see pro wrestling. He hopes that the fans will be positive for WRESTLE-1.
Kaz Hayashi：「我的職業摔角生涯遍及了世界各地，希望能為W-1帶來好的幫助，也請摔迷們多多支持W-1。」
Shuji Kondo
~ Kondo says that he can feel the joy that only comes with something new. WRESTLE-1 will be a name that means new professional wrestling. He hopes that W-1 can become very innovative to the sport.
Kondo then suggested that W-1 will not hold any title belts within the promotion. That there also be no restrictions between Junior and Heavy. Kondo stated that he aims to help carry W-1 into the future, and that he aims to be at the top as well.
近藤修司：「我們也許會對業界帶來相當大的影響，W-1內將不會有任何的腰帶，也不分量級，而我會把目標放在成為團體的王牌選手。」
Minoru Tanaka
~ Minoru got to the point and said that he wants to see WRESTLE-1 become the best the in the world. That he wants to see the view from the top, not only for himself, but everyone else within the organization.
田中稔：「就讓我們帶領W-1成為業界首屈一指的團體吧，我想跟著大家一起站在職業摔角的最高點。」
Masayuki Kono
~ Kono stated that he will work hard in W-1 and to satisfy the fans that will come out to see him and the other compete. “I want to do my best and with feeling for WRESTLE-1."
河野真幸：「任何到場觀戰的摔迷們，我會盡全力打好每一場比賽。」
KAI
~ KAI stated that he will strive to return from injury on September 8th. He has finally been able to begin training in the gym as of this conference and hopes to be able to show his support for Mutoh and the new organization. He said that he would help pull the promotion into the future.
KAI：「為了W-1的未來，我會拼命地朝擂台前進。」KAI於09.08負傷，現已可於健身房進行相關訓練。
Hiroshi Yamato
~ Yamato stated that “As a wrestler who was born in this era, I only know of wrestling from this era." That he will continue wrestling as he has been doing and he will being a superior effort with him to W-1. He hopes the new organization will become the best in the world, and he hopes to be a “bridge" to the future.
大和弘嗣：「身為這個世代的摔角手，我會努力、努力、再努力。」
Ryota Hama
~ Hama stated that he will compete and fight with confidence for the fans much like he did during his 13 years in sumo wrestling. That he will continue to work hard at this time for WRESTLE-1 and for the fans, of course. Hama wants to be part of the foundation for the new promotion and he wants to see a “big castle" built.
濱亮太：「我會正面迎擊接下來任何的挑戰，就如同我面對13年間的相撲生涯一樣。」
Yasufumi Nakanoueno
~ Yasufumi stated that he followed Mutoh as that was the best decision for himself. He aims to continue following Mutoh and that he wants to work hard and have fun/enjoyment at the same time.
中之上靖文：「跟隨武藤先生是我做過最好的決定，就跟著W-1一起衝吧。」
Brian Ishizaka
~ “I will do my best to be able to debut in WRESTLE-1."
石坂Brian(練習生)：「W-1就是我職業摔角的起點，我會盡全力打好每一場比賽。」
Seiki “SEIKI" Yoshioka
~ I want to do my best in the new organization and he wants to be able to give back to Mutoh for the opportunity to join along with him early this year.
吉岡世紀(練習生)：「感謝武藤先生給我機會，我不會讓他失望的。」
~ Both Andy Wu and Daiki Inaba were absent from the conference as they are both currently competing and training in Mexico.
Andy吳及稻葉大樹(練習生)目前於墨西哥參戰。
