It has been announced that Manabu Soya will be out of action out of action due to injury.
征史學因傷退出戰線。
Manabu Soya and the current President, Masayuki Uchida, were on hand for the announcement. Soya has been suffering from pain that has run from his eye all the way down to his neck and shoulders. After an examination after yesterday’s show, he was diagnosed with a cervical hernia and oculomotor nerve palsy (nerve damage to the eye).
在兩國大會結束後隔天，征矢學被診斷出有「頸椎間盤突出」，及對眼部有相當傷害的「動眼神經麻痺」。
Apparently this injury was already affecting him for quite sometime now, but after the show yesterday the injuries seemed to have worsened. So action was needed.
Soya will be undergoing a thorough examination, but at this time it is best for him to rest more than anything else. Uchida stated that “Soya will be unable to return until the injury is healed, and there is no indication (time fram) on that at this time.” Uchida humbly apologized to Soya’s fans that they understand the situation.
顯然征矢已經負傷上場一陣子了，所以接下來將會對身體狀況做徹底的檢查。全日本社長內田雅之表示：「在完全康復之前，征矢是不會上擂台的，也希望粉絲們能夠體諒。」
Soya stated that he was suffering from this injury since last year, but he wanted to continue wrestling. As many of you know Takumi Soya, Manabu’s brother, was forced to retire from wrestling do to a severe injury to his jaw last year. So that may have something to do with Manabu not wanting to admit an injury.
It seems it has taken some persuasion for Manabu to take some time away, but being now that he is no longer a tag team champion it is time for him to take some time to rest.
「其實從去年開始身體就一直有些問題，但還是很想繼續比賽。」征矢說。
征矢匠(征矢學的弟弟)也於去年因下顎傷勢引退，或許這是征矢隱瞞病情的原因。
